At Chemist4U, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you need to return an item, please carefully follow the steps outlined below.
1. Returning Items
Returns can only be initiated once you have received confirmation from our Customer Care team that the item is eligible for return. Please contact us to begin the process. (Please also see the return exemption)
2. Return Approval
If your return is approved, our team will provide you with a tracked returns label at no cost to you, provided your item qualifies for return. Please note: Due to medicines regulations, we are unable to accept medicines back as standard because the storage conditions at the recipient’s address cannot be validated.
3. Return Requirements
If a return label is issued, please ensure the parcel includes the following:
- The item(s) in their original condition (unused and unopened, if applicable)
- Your original delivery note, with the returns section fully completed, clearly states the item(s) you are returning and the reason for the return.
4. Postage
- Return postage: You will be responsible for the return postage costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (such as sending the wrong item or a faulty product). In those cases, we will provide a free returns postage label.
- Refund of Delivery Charges: If you are an EU customer cancelling under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, we will refund your delivery charges as well.
5. Unsuccessful Delivery
If you are not available to accept the delivery and the package is returned to us, we will refund you minus the postage cost, even if you qualify for free shipping.
6. Responsibility for Lost or Damaged Returns
We are unable to accept responsibility for items that are lost or damaged during the return process. You must ensure the item(s) are securely packaged and obtain proof of posting. We recommend using a tracked service for your return to ensure it reaches us safely. Please allow at least two days for your return to arrive.
7. Refund Processing
Please note that we are unable to offer exchanges for goods returned by post. Once we receive your return, please allow up to 14 days for your refund to be processed. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
8. Broken Glass
If your item includes broken glass, please dispose of it safely before returning the item. For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of broken glass in the packaging.
